Ways You Can Change Homelessness
Please join us in our efforts to end homelessness – together, we can do it!
Donate
If you are interested in supporting your neighbors experiencing homelessness, here are a few ways you can give back under the Pathway to Home Program:
- Make an in-kind donation: Please consider making donations of the following high priority items: clothing, blankets, toiletries, backpacks, and $5 gift cards (ex. Family Dollar, Burger King, Winn Dixie). Donations should be made directly to Trinity Rescue Mission (Trinity) located at 622 West Union Street between the hours of 9:00am to 5:00pm. Trinity will distribute the needed items among the Jacksonville homeless providers to be given directly to individuals experiencing homelessness. For more information or questions, please call 904-361-3605
- Purchase Move-In Kits: Move-In Kits provide needed kitchen essentials for homeless individuals and families moving into housing. To purchase a Move-In Kit and to learn more, please visit: org/moveinkits
Take Action
Contact your elected officials and urge them to ensure individuals experiencing homelessness in our community have the resources and support they need to protect themselves, as well as their providers.
Volunteer
To ensure the safety of our clients and staff during COVID-19, we are currently not utilizing volunteers’ onsite. We encourage anyone interested in volunteering in support of those experiencing homelessness to check out the ongoing local meal serving opportunities at Clara White Mission or Mission House.
